Our slate products includes flamed slate and normal slate
The material of the slates are arabescato corchia marble, pink sandstone and black quartz
Flamed slate: the surface of the slate is polished roughly and then flamed by ethine fire
The flame spray gun moves constantly against the surface of the slate
The speed of the moving is 150 to 250mm per second and distance of the spray gun to the surface of the slate is about 20 to 40mm
The temperature of the flame is about 800 to 1,000°C
Some water needs to be sprayed on the surface of the slate before flamed
0.5 to 1mm thicknesses of the surface will fall off during the flaming and the natural color of the slate will be exposed, so the flamed slate looks more natural, classic and rough
Normal slate: the surface of the slate is only polished roughly after sawing and cutting
